Biometric based Time Attendance and Access Control System

BioPAZZ is a Biometric based Time Attendance System which additionally performs basic Access Control functions. The system creates credentials for employees using their fingerprint and enhances the flexibility of the system by either the use of RFID cards or Keypad or a combination of both. The hardware used in this system basically starts with a unit with just a fingerprint sensor. The optical sensor used in all BioPAZZ units, creates a template of the fingerprints of the user and stores it into a database inside the units. These units can be either programmed individually using the program cards supplied with the units or can be centrally programmed through our BioPAZZ Time Attendance and Access Control Software.

WAB BEM FCR	WAB BEM FCK	WAB BEM MUL

WAC BEM FCR - is a basic unit with Fingerprint Sensor and Card Reader built in
WAC BEM FCK – is a unit with Fingerprint Sensor, Card Reader and Keypad
WAC BEM MUL- is a multimedia unit operating on Windows CE. This unit has all of the above with a built in camera and enhanced communication capabilities such as Wi-Fi and GPRS. Operating on windows CE, this unit can be customized to have various windows based applications depending upon the installed environment.

All these units can function as independent standalone units as well as incorporate USB, TCP/IP and RS485 communication capabilities to communicate with BioPAZZ Time Attendance and Access Control Software.

When connected in a network these are capable of being programmed centrally. The software is used to enroll the employees, their fingerprints and cards. Schedules, Work shifts as well as Access Levels are programmed into the Biometric Readers. These are subsequently uploaded to all or selected units through TCP/IP or RS485.

Once downloaded all the fingerprint templates are stored in all the units towhich it was sent. Access is granted or denied by comparing the finger on the sensor with the one stored in the database. Cards as well as Passwords can also be programmed into these units enabling the units to operate on the following modes:

Finger Only	Card only	Finger + Card	Finger + Password
Card + Password	Password Only	Finger + Card + Password (MUL Model only)

All the records are stored in the individual units. The data will remain in these units till it is downloaded into the software. The data can be downloaded manually, periodically or can be online in real time.

Data from these units are used to create reports for the organization. These reports include:

• Daily Report
• Attendance Report
• Absentee Report
• Late comer Report
• General Report
• Exception Report and many others.

These reports can be exported to third party software for payroll or other applications.

Access Control Functionality

These units also incorporate built in relays for locks and alarm functions. The relays can be connected to door locks and based on the programming access is granted or denied to the doors depending on the schedule and access level.

Connecting to Third Party Access Control Systems

All these units also have the 26 Bit wiegand outputs enabling them to be connected to any third party controllers. The readers are supplied with EM Readers built-in. Mifare and HID compatible versions are also available on request.

WatchNET Access Control System Integration

These WAB Biometric Readers are seamlessly integrated with WAC Access Control System. Fingerprint enrollment is done from the card enrollment screen. This feature is expected to be released in by end April 2012.
